Donielle

DONIELLE EJ JANORA had a childhood filled with dance, gymnastics and athletics. She received a B.F.A. in Dance Performance from the University at Buffalo while being a nationally ranked Track & Field heptathlete (7 events). Her professional dance career travelled nationally with the “The Will Rogers Follies” and “Footloose” tours and continued internationally on Norwegian Cruise Lines. She has danced for L'oreal, Paul Mitchell, Studio 54 SiriusXM Radio,Target, XBox Kinect and ILuminate (featured on "America's Got Talent") to name a few. Donielle is also the dance coordinator/choreographer for the United States Tournament of Dance and Acrobatic Team where they have performed at Disney, Universal Studios, Hershey Park,Madison Square Garden and the Prudential Center. She is on the faculty at Steven Institute of Technology, STEPS in New York City and Icon Dance Complex (home of the ICONic Boyz from MTV's "America's Best Dance Crew"). She is also a 200 hour vinyasa flow yoga instructor. Donielle is thrilled to share her passionate blend for barre, dance and yoga with you at Local Barre.

  • Open Barre
  • Our signature class, Open Barre is a fusion of ballet fundamentals, core conditioning, Yoga and stretching for a total body workout using lightly weighted yoga balls, stretching strap, ballet barre, playground ball, and yoga mat to achieve a lean, flexible, youthful body. Open Barre is just that, open to beginners and all levels of practice. Socks are required.

  • Open Barre: Barretender's Choice Weighted Series
  • Our classic Open Barre with a slight twist!  Your favorite Barretenders will keep you on your toes with a unique version of our Weighted Series and a slightly shaken program design each time.  Open to all levels! Grippy socks required. 

  • Wet Barre(Cardio!) {Quickie}
  • A mixture of barre exercises, yoga, weight training, HIIT and core strengthening techniques. Be prepared for a challenging amount of plank runs, lunges, kicks and pulses. Grab an extra towel and try out our newest, SWEATIEST class yet. Sneakers are required. This class runtime is 45 minutes.

  • Open Barre {Quickie}
  • Our signature class, Open Barre, packed powerfully into a 45 minute format! Open Barre is a fusion of ballet fundamentals, core conditioning, Yoga and stretching for a total body workout using lightly weighted yoga balls, stretching strap, ballet barre, playground ball, and yoga mat to achieve a lean, flexible, youthful body. Open Barre is just that, open to beginners and all levels of practice. Socks are required.

  • Nightcap(Core & Stretch)
  • The Nightcap focuses on deep stretching and lengthening of the muscles while also bringing in some subtle core work to stabilize the spine. The Nightcap is a great way to decompress after a long day and reenergize for the next...it's the high without the hangover!

  • Open Barre Extended!
  • Enjoy an extra shot of Nightcap following our signature Open Barre.  We're adding an extra 15 minutes of stretch, recovery and mobility work to help you feel amazing this long weekend!
