Amanda F

Amanda Fontana is originally from a small town outside of Pittsburgh, PA and started dancing at the young age of 2. She competed nationally in dance and went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from Point Park University with a Bachelors of Arts in Musical Theater and a minor in Dance. Since her arrival to NYC post-graduation, she has been fortunate to work professionally as a dancer and choreographer. Her favorite credits include the national tours of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Dance Captain, Silly Girl) and ELF the musical (Assistant Choreographer, Dance Captain, Swing). Newly married, she happily resides in Hoboken with her husband. Amanda is thrilled to be a part of such a talented team of Barretenders and can’t wait to share her knowledge and passion for dancing and fitness with you!   • Open Barre
  • Our signature class, Open Barre is a fusion of ballet fundamentals, core conditioning, Yoga and stretching for a total body workout using lightly weighted yoga balls, stretching strap, ballet barre, playground ball, and yoga mat to achieve a lean, flexible, youthful body. Open Barre is just that, open to beginners and all levels of practice. Socks are required.

  • Our signature class, Open Barre, packed powerfully into a 45 minute format! Open Barre is a fusion of ballet fundamentals, core conditioning, Yoga and stretching for a total body workout using lightly weighted yoga balls, stretching strap, ballet barre, playground ball, and yoga mat to achieve a lean, flexible, youthful body. Open Barre is just that, open to beginners and all levels of practice. Socks are required.

  • Outdoor Wet Barre {Quickie}
  • A mixture of barre exercises, yoga, weight training, HIIT and core strengthening techniques. Be prepared for a challenging amount of plank runs, lunges, kicks and pulses. Grab an extra towel and try out our newest, SWEATIEST class yet. Sneakers are required. This class runtime is 45 minutes.
